My token black cat friend Rashumba (above) has been getting weaves for years. Here she is with her latest look. It got me thinking about black cats and their obsession with hair. Rashumba is a smart, strong, independent black cat, however she does have insecurities about her fur and hair.
She was the inspiration behind a new documentary film called Good Hair which highlights the fact that black women also have this issue with 'good hair'. Totally opened my eyes up to Rashumba's problems. Check out the trailer below. meow. x
