A day in the life of me!!!!!!
Some creep whispering sweet nothings in my ear.
Hey bitches!!!!! It's been a while since your last Zumi fix, so I thought I’d give you the scoop on what I gets up to on a regular day.
I’ll start from today - Sunday. You may think that today sounds a little boring because I am practically working in my new Givenchy panther jumper all day (the benefits of working from home) and haven’t had an overly excitable day. But for me it is still FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! I love working on Fashion Loaf in any shape or form and no matter what I seem to be doing, if it is related in any way to the fashion industry I seem to get my kickz out of it.
So…this morning I woke up and minced around the lounge, kitchen and backyard. After reading the gossip pages over breakfast - this is my favourite part about Sunday mornings - I do my teeth (I know you want this much detail) and head upstairs to work from my bedroom on my trusty wee laptop. From time to time I check my email - totally vital to do this on a regular basis otherwise I get lost in the maze of too many emails to remember. I mean, hellooo! It's so hard to remember. I respond to the important ones and then delete the ones from boring people that I can't be bothered replying to.
As you can see, I am like, totally busy with such an interesting life, but when I find some time in my busy schedule you will find me writing articles and doing design layouts. I haven't written any articles this week as off yet, but I have done a lot of design layouts. I
Then tonight at 7pm I am going to do a poo. Yipeeee! Have a choice day!!!

Summer love
My love life's been a bit tumultuous this year. It's hard when a sensual cat like me is raking up the flybys points traveling all over the world for various shoots and events. But for summer, I've met a tomcat called Pepe. Pepe works as a Dj and has his own line of T-shirts and models part-time. We've been going out for a week and already I'm getting bored. Tomcats just can't hold me down. Anways, here's a song I stole from Rihanna I wrote for Pepe.
Hey Pepe I really wanna see if you can go downtown with a cat like me
Hey Pepe, I really wanna be with you
cause your just my type
ooh na na na na
I need a tomcat to take it over
looking for a pussycat to put you over, uh
oooooh, oooooh.

United Bamboo
Just got some images back from the United Bamboo campaign I shot after my Bali sojourn. I felt like the oldest cat in the room with all these young new cat models. Now I know how Naomi feels. I totes looked down on everyone.
Here I am looking a bit bloated (this was straight after my trip to Bali where all I did was eat, sleep and drink and eat) but I managed to work this sexual gown to the hilt. The photographer asked me to do anything that came natural to me, so I did most of the shoot lying down. Here are some pics of the other models:

Like a bottle of fine wine I just get better with time
From "Hardcore" to "Notorious" you studied my flow
And still.."
Hey sluts. Just got back from an early morning blow dry at Lucy and La Chowder rooms. Taking some time out for Summer, finally putting paw to paper and writing the beginnning's of my memoirs. Stay tuned... meow. x

Fashion food for thought
Guys, I've had many sleepless nights recently thinking about fashion and how it relates to my life on an intellectual, spiritual and emotional level. What's it all about? Fashion. That is what we are all chasing isn't it?
But then again maybe not all of us are. For those of us who have "lived life well", there comes a point in our lives where we are not just chasing trends.
We have a fairly full wardrobe, and we know what we like and what suits us. And as trends change each year, we find that for some seasons, there is simply nothing we like - or nothing that suits us. I mean, hello! Not everyone looks fabulous in a maxi dress or a mini skirt. Or cut off denim shorts (you know - the really short ones that only really look good on a really really 16 year old).
Maybe there comes a point where it is not about looking fashionable - but actually just looking really good and dressing really well.
It's food for thought.

The ocean is a creative place
Some cool models modelling Stolen Kittens Club jewellery at the event.
I thought you might be interested to read my thoughts on the Stolen Kittens Club jewellery event last week. I rolled down on my hip bike from the First Thursdays event not really knowing what to expect. With a seemingly endless supply of beers and Kim Crawford wine being consumed out of jam jars, the venue filled quickly with models, surly fashionistas and the cool guys from Stolen Kittens Club. The party was stoked by strains of the new Kat-nye West album, and The Naked and Famous Cats' 'Old Blood', New Zealand’s latest anthem to youth, and a tune fitting for the angle presented in SKC's new jewellery line.
I met one of the guys from Stolen Kittens Club, and he was, like, SOOOOOOOOOOOO cool! I am also led to believe SKC are surfers originally from Raglan and the Coromandel. Having been a local resident of both places throughout the years, my respect for these boys jumped markedly upon knowing this fact. The ocean is a creative place, its influence quietly reflected in the rise of SKC as a serious fashion contender. Fashion is art, but it is mostly a business. A lived knowledge of both is required to take fashion to the top of its own game. FASHION. ART. LOVE.

News about a plastic bag
I'm a sucker for a perfectly-wrapped purchase folded up in tissue paper and delivered in a well-designed parcel, but how about a plastic bag that you can use time and time again - it's the gift that keeps giving! White Square boutique is getting in on the reusable packaging game with their new plastic bags, encouraging customers to use them in every situation - clothes, shopping, groceries, picking up dog poo. I reckon they'll make good beach bags too. OMG sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in. Get in there quick, no doubt they'll be flying out the door!

Zumi's amaze and no amaze
Hey y'all. I've been neglecting my blog lately only because every other bitch cat out there's started a blog and I'm working on other projects to fulfill my creativity. Anyways, here's a classic haughty bitch pose from yours truly, complete with a black silk Lanvincat collar bought from LuisaViaRomaCat.
...And here's a list of highs and lows from my life of late
AMAZE
1. My black silk Lanvincat collar from LuisaViaRomaCat arrived. I ordered it online, but I wasn't sure when it was going to arrive, I thought it was going to take ages to arrive, because I read online somewhere that it takes ages to arrive, but it didnt!!!!! it finally arrived.
2. I went to the launch of a envelope launch of new envelopes with my friends Trina and Tina where we popped and jived to some old skool hip hop! OMG! HOLLA!
NO AMAZE
1. The front door at my artfully distressed Grey Lynn Selby worthy loft used to rattle, so we got a strip of rubber stuck in the doorway to keep that baby airtight. Now the weather’s warmer, there’s been some expansion in the rubber and the door is near impossible to close and lock. I’m serious. So difficult. Totes murder on my Lucy and la Chowder room manicured O.P.I claws. I now have to enter and exit the house via the laundry room back door on the other side of the house. Bane of my life.
2. Trina got the same Bretton stripe T-shirt as me. Bretton Stripes were my thang, and bitch totally tried to steal my style crown. Poo poo.

Hey guys.Whilst lining my kitty litter tray with today's Weekend Herald, I came across this story on the front page. I decided to make some alterations (see red) to this story.

Battle of the blondes - jury decides
By Michael DickisonBridget Masters leaves the Wellington District Court with a friend after being acquitted by a jury yesterday. Photo / Mark Mitchell
A trial about two dumb blondes fighting over who looked better sluttier in a silver dress has been resolved - just in time for the 21st birthday party extravaganzzzzzzzaaaaaaaaaaa! of one of the women.
Bridget Masters a dumb bitch, 20, was yesterday acquitted by a Wellington District Court jury of wounding with intent to injure after smashing a champagne glass on the head of her douche bag ex-boyfriend's new 22-year-old woman.
At the centre of the altercation in the toilets of the Wellington bar Temperance was a slutty silver dress - bought in the United States and brought back for Ms Masters.
But she rejected the dress when she broke up with her boyfriend of 18 months, and it was still in his wardrobe four weeks later.
The man's new girlfriend, Victoria Clapham, saw the dress as they prepared to go out on a Friday night, and he gave it to her with joy.
The man, Matthew Vibert, took Ms Clapham to the bar, where he knew Ms Masters would be.
She was photographing VIPs for a website to take her closer to her dream of becoming New Zealand's next top dumb a television presenter.
At 2.30am, the two women bitches clashed. Ms Masters yelled, "Why are you wearing my cheap and nasty dress?"
Ms Clapham allegedly responded, "Because Matt gave it to me and it looks so much better sexual and glorious on me than it does on you bitch."
Ms Masters' mother, Tracey, said after the verdict that it was unfair her daughter had been dragged through the courts for almost a year.
Ms Masters had not been allowed to drink pina coladas during that time.
"It's been really hard on her, when actually it wasn't even the drinking."
Ms Masters said outside the court yesterday that she would celebrate her acquittal with her family. She turns 21 next week.
"I kind of feel like I'm in heaven ecstasy right now," she said. "I was the victim of this whole incident debacle."
The jury saw diagrams of the alleged crime scene, with arrows marking distances between sinks and toilet stalls and possible trajectories of cocktails. and cum stains.
The case depended less on the women's nasty blonde hair weave , drenched with alcohol and blood and shit stains, than on the angles and speeds at which the two bent their elbows and flicked their wrists to splash cocktails and turds at each other.
Did Ms Clapham extend her right arm in a twisting motion at shoulder height as she flung her drink, or was it a light flick from near her chest? The jury members were asked to consider several other questions. poor them
Could Ms Masters really have forgotten that she was holding her champagne glass, which smashed into her adversary's head, when seconds earlier she had flung its contents at the silver dress? good question
The difficulties were compounded by evidence from five highly inconsistent witness accounts.
Ms Masters and a friend, who had been next to her in the bathroom, gave consistent accounts, but the prosecution suggested they could have arranged to tell the same story at a cake stall.
The friend said they had not had time to collude because they were too quickly whisked out by bouncers to police, and "I was crying, she was crying. Actually, we were all crying like baby unicorns.
Among the contested facts were whether Ms Clapham had screamed at Ms Masters: "I'm going to f***ing smash your head in, f***ing bitch."
The court also heard that the bleeding blonde was aided by a brunette not a redhead, who tried to wipe away the blood with toilet paper.
Ms Clapham allegedly stopped her, saying, "Just leave it. I want the police to see how it is, fool.
The agreed facts were that Ms Masters first yelled at Ms Clapham, then splashed the dress with "bubbly".splash!
Ms Clapham responded with a splash splash splashity splash splash of her own - "the return act", as Judge Andrew Becroft called it. Then Ms Masters allegedly smashed her glass into Ms Clapham's head.
Crown prosecutor Jojo Murdoch argued against self-defence.
"The accused was not hit by a glass or a punch, she was hit by liquid, LIQUID I TELL YOU! " she told the jury. Defence lawyer Mike Antunovic asked the jury, "What can you really be sure about?"
Ms Masters was watery-eyed as she entered the courtroom, sitting in the witness box with tissues. and a pina colada with a little umbrella.
She broke down at Mr Antunovic's defence.
"Your judgment will affect this young woman long after we've packed up our bags and gone home for the weekend to the Bahamas," he told the jury.
After her acquittal, Ms Masters was overwhelmed with emotion and mistakenly walked back into custody like a dumb bitch.
She had about 10 family and friends supporting her and eating cakes.
The complainant, Ms Clapham, had already left for the Bahamas.
The end.
The end.

Another cat has the same jacket as me
Over the years there have been plenty of ZambesiCat pieces I've really wanted and never bought, usually because of the price being high and my income being, like, low. The handknitted cardigan from Winter 2010 was probably the ZambesiCat thing I've wanted the most. So I got it. Holla! I've been wearing it sooooo much lately. Five of the last six days, to be exact, with a really old Katren Walker Menswear hoodie that my flatmate gave to me and Simon Says Jeans that Fabric gave to me. I only smell a little bit, so it's ok. The more-famous-than-me blogger Suzie Stubble (not to be mistaken for Susie Cubble) has been wearing it too, only she styles it a little differently, with a beaut little ribbon. It's the fanciest thing I've ever owned, and it's a constant source of self-validation. I get compliments whenever I leave the house in it. CPW (cost-per-wear) is an important tool for calculating a garment's worth, but CPW (compliments-per-wear) trumps it every time. I LOVE SU......ZIE!
